Remember the days when you were young and you would round up the squad and take a nice little ride somewhere. About 8 or 9 of ya'll on trick bikes pieced together from rusty Po-Go's and Meg rims to the spoiled kid who had the newest bike. Riding all through the city with no real destination or purpose other then pure satisfaction.
Well this past weekend did just that for us here at Abstract Thought. Inspired by beautiful weather and our adopted principle of "F Gas" we decided to pull out the GT's, Mongooses, Haros, and Dynos !!! It started out as a fulfilling trip, whizzing through the street with not a care in the world. Felt like we were kids again. Riding down chestnut street zooming in and out of lanes. As always there was the one who couldn't keep up with the rest of the group so random stops were always made. Then after making it down center city our adventure begin to go downhill. We encountered everything from chains that kept popping to flat tires, leaving us with this:
On septa riding back to our studio. Bikes loaded on the front bike rack and all on the bus. What a night!!! Through it all we had a wonderful time. You never know what to expect from the guys at Abstract Thought !!!
