Now despite whatever bias you may have formed about the artist I would say the move to cross over to the Rock & Roll is quite risky. It will either boost his career emmensly or his career will plummit from attempting to take on much more then he is capable of. Judging by the comments of folks from the source (Rolling Stone) it does not seem that fans are opening up to this new idea.
It just made me think of the good ol' movies such as Five Heartbeats, The Temptations, and Dream Girls. All groups who spoke of cross over at some point in their career. Therefore listen to his material before passing judgement and lets accept his "Rebirth" (new alblum). Your thoughts....
